College Readiness

Welcome to the College of Natural Sciences, Forestry, and Agriculture!

We have gathered information to help you succeed in college. Whether you are a brand new student or an upper level student, we hope you take advantage of these resources throughout your undergraduate career.

Be sure to visit our Undergraduate FAQs page for answers to commonly asked questions.

Additionally, there are several links to tutorials for many of the introductory courses you may take during your first year. We encourage you to work with these materials during the summer BEFORE you arrive. We find that successful students keep learning during the summer and are proactive about preparing for the transition from high school to college.

If you have any questions please contact us through our email nsfaacademics@maine.edu, or call our office 207.581.3206.

We hope you enjoy your time at UMaine!
