The Penobscot Nation Water Resources Program

The Penobscot Nation has a responsibility to care for the Penobscot River, the tribe’s lifeblood and namesake. Dan Kusnierz and Jan Paul, from the Water Resources Program for the tribe, will talk about the importance of water to the tribe and provide an overview of several projects the program is working on. They will also present information on water quality conditions in the upper Penobscot.
