he Graduate School is providing an orientation that will be useful for all new TAs as they assume their new roles as teachers. Sessions will include a workshop focused on how to approach the first day of class, lead classroom discussion, teach a laboratory, as well as informative sessions on university policy regarding sexual harassment, academic dishonesty, and disability accommodation. This orientation program is also an excellent opportunity for new TAs to connect and network.
Continental breakfast and a catered BBQ lunch will be provided.
